Community service projects at AMAA

Posted in: American Martial Arts Academy

The Red Belt Academy has a number of community service projects in the works. Please support these efforts in any way you can:

1. Operation Cover-Up: We are collecting new bed/bath items such as slippers, robes, towels, T-shirts and socks for needy veterans staying at VA hospitals. Drop off your donation in the green tub in the lobby at AMAA.

2. Blood Drive: Details forthcoming on a weekday blood drive to be held at AMAA.

3. Dojo Beautification Day: On Sunday, Feb. 21, we will perform minor maintenace, repair and cleanup at the dojo. All helping hands are welcome!

4. Support a military family through the Operation Homefront program. Café Hidalgo will provide the venue for a fundraising event on March 28 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tickets for the event will include food and beverages. We will also organize a raffle the help raise additional funds. The money raised will support a local military family.
