The most adorable male dog showed up on my doorstep - Arbor Ridge Court - at 2 am, January 11, 2013. He tried to run straight into my front door and living room. He is definitely an inside pet. He is black-and-white, and he is scared & shivering. He has a fresh cut on his back left paw. I checked him out. Judging from the way he smells, he has probably been missing for several days. With all of the heavy rain from the past several days, he seems to be chilled to the bone - not accustomed to being outdoors.
He is wrapped up in a bunch of thick bath towels right now and is sleeping on my cushioned lounge chair up against my back door. He immediately rooted down into the towels and tucked himself in. He shivered for about 30 minutes and finally stopped. I almost brought him inside anyway, but I am allergic to him and I have inside pets. He only eats if I come outside and sit with him as if to give him permission.
