Neighborhood residents should obtain a residential parking sticker for their cars and display the sticker on the right side of the rear bumper.
When ticket enforcement officers sweep the area, they will ticket any vehicle without a sticker parked in the location for more then two hours.
The sticker enables residents to park on the street and prevent nonresidents from doing so.
The sticker entitles residents to park in the entire neighborhood area regardless of any other parking regulations for that area.
Any vehicle without this sticker can only park for two hours and then is subject to a parking ticket.
The sticker program is meant to free up the parking for the residents of the area and discourage long term parking by those who don't live in the neighborhood.
Resident should bring their vehicle registration card and proof of their address (Driver's license or utility bill) to the City/County building at 8th and French Streets. They will be issued a color/letter-coded sticker for their rear bumper (right side).
