I did get to attend the public hearing in Garland and have the CD of the plan. One of the most interesting for us is to have the Cotten Belt line as a priority. DART own the right of way and it would go from Richardson/Plano to hook up to the airport line at Farmers Branch. They do not have it extended to Wylie /Garland and that is something that I asked to have reviewed but the more emails they get, the more interest and potential riders they count.
I also listed to have our area looked at in the next service plan review - also spoke with some staff and used the map to show our gridlock to busses. We can ask to have a DART on Demand service - those are smaller buses that can be called to the door to make connections. This will take a concerted effort on our part
