Storage Shed

Posted in: Lone Oak Park
Listed in the Covenant's and Restrictions of Lone Oaks Parke are guidelines of detached buildings such as sheds and other storage units. It is clear that a homeowner has failed to abide by these rules and regulations since they have a large wooden shed that is clearly visible in every direction- it's located on the West side of our neighborhood. I feel the need to address this not only because laws are being violated but in hopes to avoid it becoming a tacky trend and embarrassment to our neighborhood.

Storage Sheds

I haven't read through all of the covenants, but the shed(s) that people may have need to be torn down if not in compliance. If not, I'm sure there are penalties that can be enforce or liens filed on their properties.
This shed looks terrible as you drive into the addition.  I am embarrassed for others to see it.  It should have been kept below the fence line, and now the shingles are coming off.  Please don't let our neighborhood look trashy.  Please do something about this shed and others that may follow.

I agree it is embarassing.  It would be different if a small part of the roof could be seen from the street, but they have made it so tall that all of the roof and a couple of feet of the side of the building can bee seen.

It apparently is not a storage shed, it is a workshop.

It will have to come down, how do we proceed?
