Hello Fellow CCHOA Residents -
I'm not sure which Copper Creek group to post this to so I picked both because I feel it's important.
Yesterday I walked to the park with my kids and I was appalled at the condition of the Rainbow Play set by the ponds. While I understand it is important for the HOA to save up a "Slush Fund", sometimes the money needs to be spent on basic maintenance. I have added some pictures as it is quickly becoming dangerous for the children in our community and if not quickly taken care of it will turn into a claim against the HOA Liability Policy which will in turn raise the rates. The system was purchase for over $10,000 through Statuary World and all they need is a phone call and they can come out and make the appropriate fixes. The system also needs to be treated so it doesn't continue to rot through the wood, especially with the rainy season coming.
I was going to attach photos but I'm not 100% how to do that here, but wood is rotting in area, the bubble window on one side of the system is broken completely off with sharp plastic exposed that a child can fall through. An entire arm of the system that had a swing attached is broken off. The tick tack toe wall is broken and no longer connected at the bottom which can allow a child to fall off the top or cut them. These are all potential injuries waiting to happen and not acceptable.
