Next Board Meeting: Monday Aug. 25th, 7:00 pm.

NEW POOL HOURS:

Now that school has started the new pool hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,& Thursday- 3:30-7:00 pm.
Friday- 3:30-9:00 pm.
Saturday: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Sunday: 12:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Remember: The pool will be open only on the two weekends following Labor Day (Sept. 6-7th and 13-14th).


FAMILY LATE NIGHT SPLASH PARTY & POTLUCK

Date: Sunday Aug. 31st 6:00-11:00 pm.

Games will be organized for both children and adults. A meat dish will be provided. All families need to bring is a dish to pass: "A-H" dessert, "I-N" salad, "O-Z" vegetable.

FAMILY CAMPOUT/MOVIE NIGHT

Date: Saturday, Sept. 6th.
Place: Behind the Clubhouse.

The pool will be open until 9:00 pm. The movie will be shown right after the pool closes. Even if you don't camp out, come out and enjoy the movie.


TEEN SWIM NIGHT

Date: Saturday, August 23rd.
Time: 9:00-11:00 pm

Two parents are needed to chaperone (please respond by Aug. 22nd to Jeff Grove @ 244-5172). All boys and girls ages 13-18 can attend. There will be snacks and pop provided.


BUNCO SIGN-UP

Date: August 26th
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: Anne Grove's House, 14419 Micawber Way.

Come join the Bunco group. Meetings are once a month. Bunco gives you a chance to meet your neighbors and is a good excuse to get out of the house (the gossip is good also). Everyone is automatically signed up for next year unless you notify us.

COPPERFFIELD'S HALLOWEEN CUSTOME PARTY

Date: Sunday, October 26th.
Time: 2:00-4:00 pm
Location: Clubhouse

The annual Halloween Custome Party is coming up. There will be prizes awarded to the following age groups: 6 & Under, 7 to 10 years old, and 10-13 years old.

We will also have a Pumpkin Carving contenst after the custome judging. Please RSVP to Jeff Grove (244-5172) by October 24th at the latest.


"FALL TAILING PARTY" - BEER TASTING & CHILI COOK-OFF!!!!

Date: Sat. Oct. 18th
Time: 12:00 pm- until
Place: Copperfield Clubhouse PArking Lot.

Come tailgate at the Clubhouse. Bring some beer to share and cook up your best pot of chili. Enjoy a beautiful fall day, watch some football and vote for the best pot of chili.

COPPERFIELD GOLF SCRAMBLE

Date: Sept. 27th
Place: Long Run Golf Course

Time is running out. Sign up now with Jamey Ramsey (245-5440). The cost is $24 per person. There will be a shotgun start staring at 3:00 pm. Only 36 spots available.

ADULT LUAU PARTY:

The adult "Luau" was a great success (with the help of jello shots, blended drinks and a great group of Copperfield residents!). Sixty-six attended and everyone karaoked and danced the night away.
