The new Ninth Grade Center and Lake Highlands High School are about three miles from the area and are widely recognized as excellent schools.
Richland College is located adjacent to our area and provides both educational opportunities and excellent recreational and athletic facilities available to residents.

The Country Forest - Jackson Meadows Homeowners Association, Inc. is a strong and active force in promoting, protecting and enhancing the value of the neighborhood in many ways. The Association maintains liason with Dallas City officials, conducts extensive crime watch patrols using Crime Strike security, provides communication between residents and fosters fellowship and neighborliness through numerous activities.
Board members are elected annually and volunteers are always welcome to assist with our programs.

The County Forest / Jackson Meadows Homeowner's Association is proud to announce the introduction of our new Neighborhood Website. This service has been provided absolutely free by neighborhoodlink.com and has been endorsed by former Mayor Ron Kirk.
This site will enable our residents better communication not only among ourselves, but also with our city officals through all the valuable links it provides.
Our Homeowners' Association is voluntary, with current dues of $75.00 per year, and is well supported by area residents. We encourage members to make an additional contribution earmarked for our private security patrols (our largest expense).The Association provides numerous services, including security patrols by Crime Strike security, maintenance of community facilities, communications and interaction with all residents.
Do you care about your neighborhood? Of course you do. Here is your chance to get involved. You have the ability to post issues concerning our neighborhood on the bulletin board, or advertise your upcoming garage sale. Do you have a teenager that would like to earn extra money mowing lawns or pet sitting? Advertise in the classifed ads.
Communication is the greatest asset our neigborhood can have so plan to check our site often to stay informed.
