Me confused??? Hardly, I have been involved from this thing since May, I know more than I care to thank you very much. I have done my homework, something you have not. Without getting into a shouting match again, I do not like "new" people coming to this board if they are 1.)uninformed, makes you look really bad, 2.) if you are going to start calliing us names, makes you look like a 2 year old, 3.) Yes, our minds are made up, like WW and Chris have stated, we've come to far to back away from this, you seem like someone that does not care what their government does or that they have any kind of ethics. Think next time before posting a bunch of BS!!

Very well put!! It seems like BF people are somehow finding out about this board, would be nice if they would be more open minded about all of this. Its sad to think that today's society doesn't care what their government is doing. I also agree that Br Anon is probably one of the most ethical BF people we'll ever encounter, kind of scary when you think about it. My I suggest that you John take your crass remarks to another board until you do some of your own research.

I can't assume "John" is just an uninformed BF citizen. From his emotion & attacking nature, I am more inclined to think "John" is another elected official of BF, or maybe he is from Interlocken.

I firmly believe BF citizens would not be so offended or attacking of us. We are following the legal processes, pounding the pavement, looking for a citizen review and asking the CITIZENS to decide.

Which segment has more to lose if BF County never comes about? Citizens proceed as they always have... The elected officials and Interlocken will have their apple cart upset.

one CVELG justification

Thank you, Br Anonymous, for one reason that CVELG exists. Your statement shows how the democratic process should work - the "field" use was openly discussed in several open and public meetings as you point out, and citizens were given a chance for input. Only then was a decision made.

Contrast this to the "County" process which will have significantly more effect on Broomfield and its citizens. The Feasibility study was published on Saturday, 2/21/98, and "discussed" in a City Council study session (which does not allow public input or comment) on that same day. Only 3 days later, after midnight and again without public discussion, council directed staff to prepare the amendment and state ballot wording (city council minutes,2/24/98)- in fact, until Referendum C actually got on the state ballot, there was not one public hearing. If there was, I simply ask when, where, and how notice was published. Why was this very important issue for Broomfield placed on the state ballot without giving time for citizens to read the Feasibility study and question or discuss it first?

It is this latter action of bypassing citizens for such an important matter that seems to be at least one possibly valid reason for CVE(ethical)LG action. It may not be illegal, but it does seem to be unethical. There may be others.
