Which BBW was this?
Please, BBW, let us review recent events on our discussion board:
You have been repeatedly asked to cite volume and issue numbers of publications in which you claim numerous articles on public meetings, council agendas, and campaign facts were printed.
You do not.
You have been asked to identify yourself and speak honestly of your convictions.
You do not.
You have been asked to provide documentation on the "hundreds" of public meetings that occurred during the process of forming the combined city and county of Broomfield.
You do not.
You have been asked to cite any tangible benefit that Broomfield citizens would enjoy under a new county.
You do not.
You have been asked to stop repeating vague, over-generalized phrases meant to divert attention from valid concerns of Colorado voters.
You do not.
You have been asked to explain why Broomfield officials, not ordinary citizens like us, are the only ones debating in favor of the county status.
You do not.
Are you sensing a trend here? In short, BBW, you are truly destined to be a great politician. The burden of proof is on you and Broomfield officials to demonstrate that what you are doing is just and in the best interest of Colorado. You somehow manage to cast that burden onto us, knowing that ordinary citizens like us must rely on information that is public record and have neither the money nor influence to gain access to the type of meetings or committee positions that would allow us to directly combat the issue.
It is our duty to raise the questions that we do when the actions of our leaders are clearly not in our interests. I am certain that you know this. I am certain you are prepared for this. I am now also certain that your only intention is to discount our valid concerns on this discussion board at all cost. I am also certain this is one of the reasons why you refuse to identify yourself. Are you afraid of proving our point that only Broomfield officials are defending the county status?
