Did anyone notice anything out of the ordinary in our neighborhood last night?   Ron went out to get in his truck about 6:15 this morning only to find the two left tires on his truck were flattened … both tires had been slashed.   Also, the 4 cars parked in the street (one house West of us plus the house on the NW corner) also had their tires slashed.  Plus our next door neighbor to the East of us had both tires on the left side of his car slashed.  As far as we know 6 vehicles were involved.  The Tempe Police were called and they are here now taking reports.   

We heard either gunshots or firecrackers behind our house about 8:30 last night … not sure which it was.

There was a truck at 811 W. 10th St. which was parked on the driveway and had one back tire slashed.  Actually, there were 7 vehicles affected. 
 
A second officer came by to assist the officer who was taking reports from neighbors.  The assisting officer drove around the neighborhood looking for flat tires but didn't find any more problems.  It appears it only happened on our block.
