They are cutting down our trees on 35th Street and 17th Avenue.  For 30 years I have lived on a tree lined street.  Now, these new home owners in an effort to avoid raking leaves are cutting down city trees.  My tree lined street is now barren.  There should be serious fines for all the stumps lining my street

It is sad to hear you have lost something that gave you pleasure.  Find out a law was broken cutting down city trees.  Stumps surely are unattractive scenery to more than you.  Talk to other neighbors and see how they feel about this.  Talk with those who are actual cut down all the trees.  Let them know how you and others feel.  Once all people involved have been considered maybe you guys can come up with a plan, supported by the city to make things better.  

Once you guys are able to come up with a plan, contact your city council. You can send an email, or possibly your city might have a blog to share ideas and express opinions. We all have to work at getting along.  It all starts with being informed and being considerate of one another.   I hope you can regain a scenery that is pleasing for everyone involved.  Good luck bawalker 123.
