Door to Door Soliciting is discouraged in Westchester.  A sign designating "no soliciting" is posted at the East and West Entrance.

If you have solicitors to your door, ask them for their contact information or card.

Call IMPD 911 if you feel threated or they will not leave your property.

the Scam is the solicitors are casing neighborhoods and checking to see if anyone is home.

Keep an eye out for your neighbors and report suspicous activity.

Just received an email from our Crime Watch Captain.

someone is posing as an ADT salesman, knocking on doors and asking questions about your home, such as, do you have a dog? Back Deck? etc.

ADT does not send out sales reps  door to door.  Be on the lookout and report suspicious acitivity to your Crime Watch Captain. If you feel in any way threatened please call 911
