Just want to mention that there are other uses for the radio that should be discussed.
It can be a good thing for elderly neighbors to give a shout out if they are not just having a crime problem, for example if they carry their radio on their person throughout the day, and fall and can't get up (no pun intended) and cannot get get to a telephone, they could shout out to a neighbor to get them some help over the FSR. These radios could be great in a snow storm, or in light of whats been going on in our city, and a country on the edge of war these radios could be of great service to our neighbors.
