Cross Keys POA Board of Directors Meeting
February 12, 2008
The Cross Keys Board of Directors met on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at The Perk at 6:30 with three members present and one guest.
Craig Honchell, president called the meeting to order. The minutes from the previous Annual meeting were read and approved. The financial statement showed a balance of $15,052.37.
Craig, board member Jim Garlock and Susan Richmond agreed to go ahead with the collection delinquent dues by imposing liens on those properties that had not responded to prior collection attempts. A decision was made to pro-rate accounts back to the date of ownership for homeowners who had not occupied their home for a full year.
Mindy Yates, Grounds Committee, brought the board up to date on work that the committee had done since the last meeting. The committee designated the following as areas of concern:
?• Perimeter Light Poles
?• Landscaping Lights
?• Irrigation
?• Trees along Perimeter
?• Landscaping of Flower Beds
?• Maintenance
The committee talked to Ozarks Electric and there was a work order Submitted to correct the light poles that were improperly installed. This work would be done immediately. The committee is in the process of getting bids to replace the lights in the flower beds.
The question was posed during at an earlier meeting as to whether the original contractors of the subdivision had money bonded through a city landscaping program to replace the perimeter trees. It was later found that Cross Keys did not have to participate in that program. The replacement of the perimeter trees will be financed through the Cross Keys Association funds. The Grounds Committee is getting bids on new replacement trees.
Initially landscaping was deemed to be the main objective of the spring season, after some deliberation the committee decided to move fence repair to the forefront of discussion. We will be taking bids and deciding the best plan of attack to resolve the appearance of the south fence.
The Grounds Committee will do all necessary replacement of plants and dirt work as needed. We have entered into a contract with Artur?’s Landscaping to perform all of the landscaping needs over the coming months. Their duties will include the following:
?• Mowing
?• Clearing Debris
?• Edging and Trimming
?• Mulching the Flower Beds
?• Fall Clean Up
?• Irrigation/Maintenance
The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00.
Respectfully Submitted,
Susan Richmond
