Hi Neighbors,
I just received an email from Community Management and Sales regarding our upcoming elections. The meeting will be on May 8, 2013. The following information was also provided:
"All candidates will be given the same opportunity to provide one standard page containing campaign information to the voting membership. The one pagers are due in our office by close of business (5:00 pm) April 3rd, 2013. The candidate campaign information will be sent out with the ballots on or before April 8th noticing the meeting.
Please email, mail or fax your campaign page to our office (info@cmslv.com, 5631 S. Pecos Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89120, or 702-255-0459). Thank you for your interest in serving the Crossroads III community. We look forward to receiving your campaign one pager soon."
I had requested the unit owners address so that I could send out mailers at my own expense, not the HOA's. I sent an email asking the management company if including these information sheets will increase the cost of the mailing and by how much. If that's the case, I don't want the HOA to incure any expenses on my account. I do believe, however, that the members should know who they are voting for and that is why I was willing to do it on my own at my own expense.
