HOA Board
President - Ron Kelley
Vice President - Patrick Moylan
Secretary - VACANT
Treasurer - Paul Rosner
Members at large (6) - VACANT
It is refreshing to see a renewed interest in getting involved in the community. At our last HOA Annual meeting, we had a total of 3 households represented in person. The Board members, and 1 other family that was new to the neighborhood.
It is at these annual meetings that the past years "Profit and Loss" statements are reviewed, and proposed budgets for the upcoming year are voted on. Copies of all are distributed at that time.
The $300 invoiced to each of the 66 houses in the neighborhood goes to plowing the streets and cutting the grass in the common areas. (About $4,000 each, depending on weather) There are fire hydrant fees, corporation fees, court costs for filing and releasing liens as well as some smaller postage and supply fees. 17-22 houses of the 66 either don't pay, or are on a payment plan, so the proposed budget gets shifted to pay the bills.
It is disheartening to put so much time into the neighborhood, for the Moylans, Kelleys and the Rosners, to have no-one show up at the meetings. We all have jobs and families, and have held the HOA together through the last decade.
If you can convince your neighbors to come to the next annual meeting in June, we would love to fill the 7 VACANT seats, and give up the 3 currently held seats to new members that are willing to make the HOA better for all. The board members have to be in good standing 30 days prior to the meeting (current on their dues), and any little bit helps a lot. Many hands make light work.
