The Park is in dire need of vision and money for it to improve. Since funds are short and poor attendance to the HOA meetings has hindered all decision making, i propose we enter into an agreement with the City. In summary, we give the land to the City with the understanding that they will improve it, and make it public. This would involve taking down the fence, which is unsightly and prision-like. They could create a walking track, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pool, pavilion, landscaping, etc. I think a nearby public park is better than a nearby private prison that's rarely used.
