Monday August 7 at 11:30 AM the sub contractor who has been in this area hit a main gas line on Glen Canyon and Faircrest. I called Atmos as I smelled strong gas oder as I was blissfully coming home from the gym .Atmos came immediately but our GFD had just arrived with the truck, ambulance, and command center . Atmos is attempting to fix it without turning off the gas .If they cut gas , all pilots lights will need restarting and Atmos will do this .The number is 1 800 817 8090.
This company has cut my other lines just after I stood there and pointed them out. The city transportation detp oversees their permit so if you have problems, you can call the city at 972 205 2000 and ask for transportation. One can but wonder!
