The stats show a recent spike in crimes. Home burglaries are on the upswing. Please remember to lock your doors when home and when you even step out for one minute to rake leaves or such. Put valuables in your car, or anything that would look interesting, in the trunk or take it into the house.
Most importantly---- let's harden our target and leave our outside lights on ALL night. I do not like my electric bils but this is a good way to stop the home burglaries . A well lighted area scares off folks.And call 911 at anything you feel uncomfortable about -listen to your own little voice. If it is an error, the police truly do not mind.Thanks to all who make this a good neighborhood and who keep it looking so beautiful .Our streets have a holiday look.
