Robert Karpel bought several benches at Lowes,then submitted invoices to PMG for reimbursment. He installed the benches himself, at no cost to the HOA, on his own time. That way it saved the HOA money on installation charges. I, myself (with Girl Scout help) stained all the benches in the community. The HOA paid for the stain itself, but I provided all the brushes, rags, gloves, etc. That also saved the HOA money. Robert, Jake and I were very frugal with HOA funds. If we came across something that needed to be done and one of us was able to do it ourselves, we did it. We felt that was part of our job as board member.
