is anyone aware of the Board providing a periodic accounting of the HOA dues to the Enclave's home owners? if it's not happening, does anyone know why not? I've been at the Enclave since August of 1998 and have never seen such an accounting.

Did you turn up to the Neighbourhood meeting in Feb ?, in your packet of info was detailed accounts for the year, same for the Feb meeting before that .

thanks for your response. no, I seldom have time to attend whatever meetings are advertised. is attendance at the meetings a requirement to obtain the materials you described or is there any reason why the Board does not distribute the described materials in our mailboxes the same way that notices of the meetings are distributed?

RE Accounts

Well it is one major meeting a year lasting a few hours where all the issues related to the HOA are discussed including the very point that you made re the playground in another posting. Residents are also invited to attend the quaterly meetings of the HOA. As we are all unpaid volunteers I guess that it just comes down to time and duplication of effort. I am sure that if you contact our treasurer he can copy off a duplicate of the accounts that you can collect
