Security & Home Sales
First of all, I am sorry for stirring up so much fear and anger. I was not saying I put up ''THE'' neighborhood security code, but ''OUR'' personal code, so a potential buyer could call directly to our home and we could let them in to look at our house. Second, I was only putting up this sign for a couple of hours each weekend when we were here having an open house. (We have only had four calls to get in during the past four months we have had open houses.I don't know how the others got in.)
We have decided to not have anymore open houses, they are not very effective.
I might remind you the gates are already open twice a day during the week, morning and evening, All we wanted was to have the gates open two more hours a week on the weekend for those who are selling their homes to have an open house if they choose to.
I too hope we sell our house quickly, it is nothing personal with members of the neighborhood, but to get our daughter enrolled in school before it starts. She is the most important issue to me. I hope you all get what you need.
