Just to let all know that the king snakes are back. My husband found one medium size, speckled brown with gold underneath belly in our wood pile. It was just sunning itself on top of our plastic covering of the wood. They are not poisonous so we don't need to worry about major harm but leave them alone because they are very good at keeping rodents and other potentially harmful snakes away. Such as the cotton mouth which is poisonous and prevalent in this area. Just an FYI. Next time I will try to take a picture of "no shoulders", that's what we call him.
