345 had to get deck variance
345 has been forced to seek a variance bc they expanded their deck without approval. Everyone else should be careful. Why would 345 need a variance? Are they trying to sell? b/c they modified their deck w/out permission from the county- a warning to many when you try to sell. By webmaster |

Property for sale next to MBNA
BIG QUESTION about the wooded property behind the mail boxes which seems to extend all the way from Rte4, down & into the back of the circle. Up until recently I have always thought that was Wet Lands and was owned by the state. Just recently I hung a left out of the neighborhood onto the lil rd connecting us to the shopping center and approx 10 feet into the woods stapled to a tree is a sign that says Sherrif sale. Anyone have any idea what that is? Is it possible to build on that land? By webmaster |

Spoke to DJM about this
I spoke with Joe Dimitrio at DJM Assets about the property for sale. Land for sale is part of the original Jumbo Sports property which is MBNA-leased building/parking lot and wooded area. The original Jumbo sports property is still under bankruptcy and included the red brick building currently leased by MBNA as well as five acres of wooded land on the other side of STanley Plaza Blvd. It is this undeveloped property that is for sale. It is zoned Commercial and is bounded roughly by Rte 4, STanley Plaza Blvd, the back edge of the pond, and the property owned by the CMA church. Per Delaware wetlands laws, a good portion of the land will have to stay wetlands, so there isn't a whole lot of development that could occur. By webmaster |
