In the town of middletown we have exceptionally high electric charges. I recently called the township regarding this and was informed that we just had a 10% across the board rate hike. According to the PUC municipalities are exempt from notifying customers of rate likes. And according to the town of middletown they have NO policy in writing defining how and when we are to be notified on the rate increases. The administrators office told me that they do not announce rate adjustments. They expect the associations and news journal to spread the information. This is not right, please let me know how you feel about this.
