Yes, the trucks salted as well. I am at the very beginning of the neighborhood and I back up to the single family homes. I watched the town people ride around on small John Deere snow plows in the Single Family area and they were really clearing out the snow there. If you want to address the concern I'd recommend going straight to the Maintenance Corp under Lee Rammuno or calling the Town directly. The civic association would more than likely do that for you, but I am the type of person to take things into my own hands. I have already contact the Maintenance Corp and the New Castle County police on multiple issues. Just waiting for something to happen. I'd be more than happy to email you and let you know what other issues I face on Vincent Circle and they are much worse than snow removal.
Thanks for the reply!

Yeah... I thought of perhaps calling the town, but from the looks of things, I didn't think they had anything to do with it. Thanks for the info! :o) I'll call and ask tomorrow.

I'm sorry you have so many issues to deal with. It's been easy going since we've been here. :o( Hopefully they will be resolved sooner than later.
The Civic Assoc. & the Town

I agree with all of you regarding the poor snow removal. I have been talking with the town since the fall to make sure the snow removal goes well this year, as last year it did not. For the record, the Town is responsible for all roads that have their final top coating of asphalt. If a street is not complete, the Middletown Village Maintanence Corp. (Mr. Ramunno) is responsible. I have notified that town that the past two snow storms the plowing was non-existant from the Maintanence Corp. The town has been out with their plows and salt. My street which is not complete yet actually got plowed by the town because they saw how it was not done. One thing to realize is that the plows should not scrape the ground, so there will always bee a slight amount of snow remaining that the sun usually melts. Once the town concludes their investigation, I will report the findings (hopefully at Monday night's meeting).

The Civic Assoc. and the Maintenance are two different organizations. The Maintanence Corp. has dues of $50. The Civic Assoc. has dues of $.01 We actually petition the Maintenance Corp. for funds to operate as well as through other donations.

I look forward to seeing all of you on Monday night.

Sincerely,
Eric
