There is a low spot behind my home, looks like an island. At certain times I can literally walk across it to the other side. It is an eyesore. Are there plans to widen or dig out the smaller channels? I've tried to manually shovel the mound away but it is too much work. One scoop of a tractor would due. I would be glad to discuss any options.

Thanks

Lake

Hello neighbor, unfortunately there are no plans in widening the lakes that I am aware of. It is lake lots owner?’s responsibility for erosion. I know the area you are talking about. When the homes were built the contractor let the dirt drain off in the lake and didn't put any grass down to prevent it from happening. However if you could get the other neighbors that this portion of the lake effects, they might be willing to help pay for some of the expense. Sorry, but if I can help let me know!

Thanks

Thanks for the info, if anyone has a backhoe or tractor and doesn't mind making one or two scoops to clear the island, please let me know.....
