Not sure if I have the address exactly right, but the building is between Unique of Denver and the Ace hardware store.
Does anyone know any details about it? Is it going to be a "regular" store, or specialty? I've seen them working on it for some time now, and it looks like they have a lot of the shelving in place. It'll be nice having a grocery store in the neighborhood!

Grocery Store
I am the new website coordinator and I just logged on tonight. Yes, it will again be a small grocery store at 12th and Clayton. The previous store closed when the tenants lost their lease. Now, the owner, Alex Pappas, (he owns the whole block)is planning to open another small grocery. It was announced that it would open 3/15, but that never happened. I heard he's having trouble getting contractors to finsih the work because everyone is so busy

Is Alex Pappas the older guy who would appear to be "the boss" (or at least the father of the family) at Zorba's restaurant?

Alex is the old man who is the owner of Zorbas and who loves to feed children and dogs. ALSO, I am puttting a little blurb about this website in the CPN newsletter in September and the editor is going to start putting the newsletter on the web. I think the problem is that no one knows its here!!!
