t's very exciting to have neighborhood groups joining us on the Internet. RTD offers a wealth of information through its website, at www.RTD-Denver.com -- including routes and schedules, news of upcoming events, fare information, even employment opportunities. There is also a channel for customer commendations or complaints.
If you have specific comments regarding changes to the routes or schedules in your area, please feel welcome to contact me via e-mail at rr10896@rtd-denver.com and I will try to
respond quickly to you. We do not have a fancy system, so you won't receive notices telling you that I am on vacation, or whatever, but it does offer a good day-or-night connection.
As requested in a community meeting, we are working with the City and County of Denver on identifying needed improvements on Navajo Street in order to shift Rtes 6 and 52 over to the segment south of 34th Avenue. We have completed a check of passenger boardings
at the Osage/34th bus stop, and found that it does have enough activity to meet our minimum requirement to get onto the shelter request list. Using this information. our engineers are working on the question of how they would fit a shelter into a new southbound stop on Navajo St. at 34th Avenue with the planned route change.
If you are interested in more information, post a note here and I will provide further updates. - rwr -
