Parking in front of your homes

Why do some people insist on parking exactly 1.0 carlengths from the car in front of them or behind them on our streets? They manage to consume the maximum possible space since no one can park between them and the car they have come nowhere near.

I really hate it when we have guests and they do that. I think it is inconsiderate to both my neighbors and to my other guests.

BTW, I share your frustration with cars on the street. We have four recent alumnae who started renting close to us and the street is now getting full. I do like when people use their garages. But four girls have four (or is it five) cars. I don't think there are many four car garages in WPE, are there?

very nice

how nice of you to resort to calling me names. My point is that the no one will enforce a law like that for reasons that I stated. You didn't even have enough courage to list a name, coward.

geeze.....

Where do you think that I had a ''mean attitude''? And where did my previous message state that my son and wife were not related? here is my original message for you to ponder...

If this is the law, then listen to this story and then call the cops because I am breaking the law. I have lived in this neighborhood for 8 years and read this board for at least 3. My son has a different name than I, I chose to give him the last name of my wifes family since it was a dying name and mine will go on, my wife kept her name when we got married. I have a step son from my wifes previous marriage living with us. He has a different last name. So, one family 4 people 3 different last names...I dare you to throw me out of my home.

my point is that the law that was stated is not going to be enforced. I am in complete agreement that having that many cars and that many people in the same house is a problem, but that problem will not be solved by getting the police involved. I would recommend getting in touch with the property owner and discussing the problem with them.
Finally!

Finally, Mychal, a constructive suggestion, rather than a personal history and preachy attitude about calling the ''cops.'' Who suggested that?
