I attended my 5th consecutive meeting on Tuesday and am not sure that I will be going to any more. I wonder if everyone is as turned off my what goes on at the meetings as I am. It seem that everyone there has a personal complaint and their own agenda. We all need to realize that the board is not our advisary and is there to help us grow into the community that we all want to be. Village Homes also wants to help because they want to be able to show off the community. After all it is good for business. Every community has problems including Piney Creek! It seems to me that there are too many good people in the community who do not come to these meetings and need to be there. After all we do know that the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
There is a problem with water that I have no doubt will eventually be addressed but we have to remember that we are still only about 50% completed.
Vandals need to be caught and prosecuted, maybe even names posted in the news letter if we can do so legallly. The police need to be called if anyone sees anything. The dirt bikes are illegal and the police need to be called and the parents notified. Finally all problems need to be sent to the board at least 2 weeks before our meetings so that an agenda can be made up and possibly something constructive can come out of our meetings instead of just complaining for lack of the word I really would like to use. We need to come together as a community and stop being for only ourselves and be one for all and all for one.
