It sure would be nice if everyone could keep the sidewalks open for children walking to and from school, and for everyone else in general that is walking or stroller riding through the neighborhood. Portable basketball hoops and garbage on garbage day is a real problem that forces pedestrians into the streets. Moving these items just a bit to the bottom corner of your driveway would be a big help, and this is ok for garbage as well as they only require that you place your trash within four feet of the curbside.
