Covenants

Posted in: Greenfield
Just wondering if our covenats have changed, I see many things in our neighborhood that are violations. The new homes are allowed time so they really do not count but many of the established homes have violations. Yards not being completed, fences illegal and not painted. AC units not covered, it goes on and on. Do you think we should let these things go or get the HOA involved? After all we do pay dues for many reasons? What is everyone thinking. I'd like to hear. Thanks.
Definitely Contact the HOA

Your property is your home, but it is also an investment. Of course contact the HOA, there is a form specifically for this distributed in the newsletter, but they can also fax it to you. The more people are involved in protecting the interests of their community, the longer it will continue to be a beautiful place to live and a solid investment.

Covenants

Definely contact the HOA. In most communities, it is assumed that if no one complains; there isn't a problem. The HOA officers will act descretely as to notification of violations, so don't be afrais. If it bothers you and it is a violation (no the covenants haven't changed), then report it! Thank you for being a concerned homeowner.
