No Confidence in Board

Posted in: Greenfield
How can anyone have confidence that the Board works in our best interests, when:

1. We do not know who sits on the Board. This web sites shows Louder, Keiley, Williams and another Village employee. Williams doesn't even live in Greenfield! Erroneous information that should have been fixed months ago.

2. They operate in secrecy. At no point, despite repeated requests, has the Board provided meeting minutes to residents. Since we have a newsletter, the meeting minutes should be plainly included in this medium. In addition, the website provides another avenue to inform residents as to what is being discussed and decided.

3. They refuse to follow the legal document called the ''bylaws'' and thereby enforce the covenants. Interesting, given that Village Homes' drafted and approved these documents.

4. They elect bogus committee's, e.g. the DRC, where Keiley decides what he is going to allow and what he isn't going to allow. Given that some of his construction buddies live in the neighborhood, the end result is clear: covenants are not enforced. Question: who now sits on the DRC, besides Keiley?

Given the surplus in the operating budget, I think that it's time for the Board to find a way to dramatically reduce our HOA fee, since we're not getting what we paid for.
