My property value has been increasing just fine without condominiums nearby. The only reason my property would take a dramatic increase, like the one you are dreaming about, is if another developer wanted to come in and scrape my house off to make room for ANOTHER shiny new suburban warren. I am opposed because my concern isn't how much money my property is worth, but what my quality of life is now and what it will be in the future.
