We've noticed that drivers tend to go faster than 25 mph, particularly on Steele and Madison streets, on the blocks between stop signs.
Has anyone else noticed this? We're concerned b/c we live on Steele, in the 1100 block, and the speeders rev up as soon as they've made it past the stop sign at 12th and Steele (or slam on the brakes just before reaching the intersection).
Some of the worst offenders are also residents, more interested in getting home than in thinking about the fact they're speeding in an area where many residents are elderly or children, or walking dogs. I worry the situation will be worse when the upscale condos go up over on Colfax.
