The board is considering proposals for landscaping of the common areas. Would you like to se more flowers or trees planted in a certain area? The board would love to hear your ideas!

New Landscaping

I think the current landscaping is fine.
We don't seem to be getting our money's worth out the the people who take care of the front common area, by the street.
The two middle islands look terrible ! ! Weeds, etc.

We hadn't received any commentary here for eight months, so I got out of the habit of looking here for comments. Sorry it has taken so long to reply.

We did not receive your comment until after the landscaping was approved and a contractor was selected. The old landscaping was not being maintained by our lawn service. Last year, they trimmed the bushes, but that was all they were obligated to do under the terms of the contract. Last year, the lawn service company charged us $2,900. We selected a new company this year, and they will be charging us $2,200.

The new landscaping cost around $11,500. We got four bids, and that was the lowest one (the highest came in at $17,000). We feel they did a very good job. The center islands in particular are vastly improved. I hope the work met the expectations of the community.
