Stay
BBW, We are glad that you are here. With out the opposition, we would just be talking to ourselves. We all are naturally curious about who you are. I am also curious about the other anonymous posters. I hope I get to meet you all some day when this is resolved. But I respect your need for anonymity. Don't let our hot tempers drive you away. We value your input.

To Adrian
Thank you. These are the questions many residents of BF during and after the campaign. We never had the opportuntity to discuss this in open forum before the council/leadership of BF went to the state. There were many meetings after this action; all specifically directed at supporting the efforts of CBLG; the name and chairpersons (Cooper, Stovall specifically, later Al Jeffries ( a resident); being council. Cooper, himself, delivered the paperwork to the state for formal registration of CBLG. Larry Allen, another council person, in the formation meeting already had commitment for donations; the $11,665 opening balance of this group is not small change; but is also not deliniated on the donation line. Since when could an action committee show income before it is formed?

Unfortunate
It is unfortunate that you believe our concerns to be preconceived notions of sinister activity. It is only concern that the behavior of our leaders appears to be for reasons other than our best interests. The combined city and county of Broomfield does not benefit citizens. It is obvious, however, that it will benefit many of the corporations which, for obvious reasons, funded the campaign to form the county. Residents were not given the opportunity to direct Broomfield officials nor were they even fully aware of the process as it was conducted.
After finding countless facts that present the entire process as highly suspicious, anyone would pose such questions and concerns. It is REQUIRED of citizens to remind our governments that they work for us. We are only interested in seeing our state shaped by voters for the effects that those voters consider beneficial. This did not happen. If you are our enemy, then it raises concern that you are not interested in letting voters decide what is best for our state. That only adds to the suspicion surrounding the issue. It is not an accusation. It is not a personal attack. It is not a preconceived notion of sinister intentions. It is not an irrational conclusion. It is a valid concern from Colorado residents.
