The land in Erie has not been annexed by BF; I called Erie.
Interesting on the NWP; the taxes that are available. No, Anonymous; I do not think we are stupid; I think that BF CC purposely keeps us uninformed so that we will not ask questions; they are sanctimonius egos who feel that answering questions from the electorate is below their level. Face it; most public forums; they are not in attendance to receive questions; they send the consultants, or Kirk to lead the meetings; stand on the periphery and eavesdrop on conversations to find out who may disagree with them. I have been sidearmed for my disagreement; and somehow, once one or two find out; I have not been able to speak publicly..time is limited or so they say.
NWP and US 36 toll are on the same track.
First: Bond money: NO PUBLIC INPUT OR ELECTION
Second: Berens is trying to persuade Superior and Louisville first; without involving Boulder. Perhaps he WILL BUY VOTES ON THIS BOARD THE SAME WAY HE DID ON THE NWP BOARD.
Third: the advantage to Interlocken and the funding of NWP. If he can get continuous toll onto 36; who really benefits; while all the residents pay.
Fourth: he has already contacted the state department of local affairs.
Fifth: The last time I was on the road; today, it seemed to me that the majority of the road is in Boulder County. Notice how Boulder County is not being asked to play. Perhaps, just perhaps, Berens knows he would be challenged for something more ENVIRONMENTALLY CLEAN; like light rail which would serve so many more residents. We all know that Broomfield is PRO GROWTH AND FOR DESTRUCTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AS LONG AS THEY GET THEIR WAY. Look how the trashy developments they have approved; Broadlands (of course, we cannot forget John Lee's donation to the county committee), the town center (of course, the owner of this land gave thousands to the county committee), and all the other junk not allowable in the 600 world limit.
Read the Enterprise article; Boulder county is already speaking out against this.

Thank you, Thank you. The way the wind has been blowing; that bough could break soon, really soon. I do hope the petition drive is going gangbusters.
Am I the only one who has noticed Linda's limited vocabulary. There are dictionaries and thesaurus's available; for example in my thesaurus synonyms for coward include: lack of morale, and weak. Perhaps she is caught in her own self-description of character.

Nice to see you back. :) Seems BF is spending all this money on expanding...any news if they EVER plan to fix their pathetic roads?? Good god, think i need to have my front end of my car aligned everytime I have to go there. Of course, Westy isn't much better, wonder where all the tax dollars are going??

I just received emails from about 10 people today in Erie about the northern annexation. The plans for the annexation are on the BF C/C map. They tell me BF annexed the property. It is prime habitat and native area that they are very concerned about. I need to know when and whom did you talk to in Erie about this. The annexed land is planned for massive commercial and employment including a transit area.
