A meeting will be held soon (date & time to be announced) to discuss what we should do with the Macon tennis court. Very few people use it now, but is that because it's in such bad shape? Would people use it if we resurfaced it? The clubhouse court will continue to be maintained -- do we need to maintain the Macon court also? or should we do something different (and less expensive) with that space?
Post your ideas.

Macon tennis court
The court on Macon is a health hazard. I WAS using it until I got caught up on one of the many "faults" present, fell and crushed the tendon in my knee. I have no idea what alternatives are being considered, but I fail to see why it is considered so "expensive". What are the alternatives being considered?
On a side note, it would be great if a more appropriate portion of home owners fees were spent "over here". It seems like we on Macon spend an awful lot of money improving the "north" Shores!

This was decided already.
This issue was decided last year that it is to be resurfaced so we can use it, if it doesn't have value to you it will to the person that buys your place. We should put in a sand volleyball and or playground in the x-basketball court area though.

Macon tennis court, etc
Completely disagree with sand volley ball or a playground! I think the quieter, more subdued image of tennis will be more beneficial to the neighborhood. The homes are too close in proximity to encourage more kids or teenagers! No offense intended!
