I didn't say anything was wrong with it.  My point is this:  the discussion boards are not monitored, that is to say it is not anyone's responsibility to watch the boards, so if you have an action item that needs to be addressed the best and most efficient way to get it handled is to contact a member of the board of directors, a committee member of that relevant committee, or your block rep.  The discussion boards are not intended to be a method of communicating these issues to the board or other necessary parties.  The discussion boards are to provide Castlerock's residents with an area to discuss ideas and create a feeling of community and if you wish to use this area to notify the Board of issues that need to be addressed I don't feel you should be impatient about how long it takes before someone from the Board responds to your post.

Raising and addressing concerns DOES provide a feeling of community.  This board is a great resource to communicate information to the residents especially since we have not had newsletters in years.  It is also helpful for new residents.  For example Mike Moorhead reminded all that there are special guidelines for roofs.  This is extremely important due to the cost of replacing when a roof  is not in compliance. 

 

Once someone is on a thread all they have to do is select the email option below to be notified of posts.

 

I don't consider waiting for my concern from April 19th through mid-May as being impatient.  We are all neighbors and it is common courtesy to respond.  I did email the acting ACC person and received no reponse. 

 

 

Marie, I did respond to your satellite information that the acc is working them. I will not be updating you each time I have additional information on each one. Thank you for the list and please email me anytime you have a new issue and they will be handled!

Hopefully the minutes and agenda will be posted on this website.  At meetings there are various reports - treasurer, ACC etc.  Putting the minutes on here would be a great service to the residents.  Any ACC issues would be in the minutes so we would have a monthly update.
