The Desert Mirage Neighborhood Partnership Association/Block Watch was organized in 1995 as a Neighborhood Block Watch area, in an attempt to control the high speeds of traffic going through the neighborhood. After going door to door talking to neighbors, the area started with 22 homes on the 8500 block of West McLellan Road. Almost immediately we joined the Partnership Association and even grew to 47 homes in our area and currently have 45 active homes in the area. Efforts to have a strong community awareness, training, communication, and laisions with the city council members and other city officials are just some of the goals of our area. ENJOY!
Currently the Desert Mirage Partnership Association/Block Watch is gearing up for it's up coming G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizonia Involved In Neighborhoods) October 16th, 1999. I am currently awaiting community involvement to get this project going this year. I will assist in any way I can but need everyones help to make it happen this year. Let me hear from you.
