I would like to know what the other neighborhoods are doing about this problem. The police closed one behind me and they are back in it again. Continue to call the police is not working. They are in the house wiht no gas or lights just living. The reason I know is because I see the son coming out the back of the house going to school I guess. Please someone tell me how to handle this problem. Desperate in Northwest Detroit.
Resolution

Im with you. I have two small boys and am concerned about the drug traffic in my neighborhood. My boys cant even play in the front yard due to all the speeding cars (coming and going to the house in question). I know for a fact that the police have raided it atleast 4 times, never bringing anyone out in handcuffs. I have heard that the police can only raid a drug house 3 times a year, if they're not finding anything. Im with you in finding a resolution. Maybe going to a city hall meeting and voicing our opinions is the answer....

I have had the best luck with attending the Precinct meeting (I don't know what precinct you are in) and they usually have the narcotics officers there so you can directly report the address to them in private. It is also helpful to know the times of heaviest traffic, on foot or cars..basic descriptions of the players involved, as much info as you can provide. Also the 224-DOPE line is very helpful. Good Luck!!!

Go to your police precinct community meetings and speak to the narcotic officer, or call the 224-dope hot line.
