Why don't more Homeowners

Posted in: Fox Run

I have seen several yards just today with huge weeds.  Why is nothing being done to them. One of t hem is on Riversprings and has two huge weeds in the front yard well over 3 feet tall.    When people don't take care of their property it downgrades our neighborhood and our property.  It is also very embarrassing to those who work extremely hard to keep our yards nice, our fences well maintained and our house maintained.  I have also seen several yards with no trees.  I thought that was a requirement.  Why does the HOA not do anything to those people.

hI,

What subdivision do you live it?

I agree 100%

  • Respect-O-Meter: Active Neighbor

In 2003, when all the homes were finally built we had a very active HOA, sometimes just over the top, it got annoying but its important, we went to about 2 HOA meetings so that we could actually vote in our own neighbors, but the entire time they overcharged us up to $400.00 a year, now this was not the HOA, they have now this was a HOA placed while KB was still selling homes etc. We asked why were the costs so high, we didnt have a pool nearby, or a park that was nearby. We no longer live there, its a great neighborhood, when you dont neighbors brother in laws throwing meat bones and beer cans in our back yard cause he was drunk and thinking our backyard was a big garbage pit, the neighbors that live there state it was not there fault. The parties that a neighbor, who for some reason when they shoot off fireworks off, they would aim towards our house. The would have drunken family member sleep in the gargage and we would see this person the next morning. We are no longer there, yes and lost lots of money, but with all the bs that goes in that particular area, I feel sorry for all you having to deal with those HOA people!
