I have curtis management as the contact for repairs. They are rude and not helpful at all see below. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET HELP PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
On 12/17/08 we contacted our HOA (Curtis Management "Curtis") to have a leak in our roof repaired. We were then informed that the roof was repaired and should have no other problems. It rained and a larger leak returned in the exact location as the first. Damages are now with the wall, downstairs bedroom and floors. We called the emergency HOA number and left messages. We took pictures for the HOA of the damages. We called Curtis various times and were always treated by both Suzan Lovitch and Jim Reid very rudely. They always say we are stupid and should just go away. When ever we asked for a status we told 3 different stories. They are waiting on paperwork, damages are ours not theirs, read CC&R's, and stop calling. Ms. Lovitch would often hang-up on us. However, Porter Roofing Co. just showed up one day to repair the roof. He repaired the roof and said it was the same leak. Then a contractor by the name of Lynn Leatham come out to give them an estimate of the inside damages. His estimate was between $1,500 to $2,000 if the work was done within the next couple of days. Each day of delay would cause more damages. Ms. Lovitch said that she would not file a claim with the insurance company without Mr. Reid's approval and would call with their decision. On 2/25/09 National Coatings, Ltd. assessed the damages to our roof, not the inside, while we were at work and left a business card on the door. We called National and spoke with Mike Ozee who said he was to remove the newly repaired roof. As of this date a new roof has not been installed and here we sit with possible mold and mildew build-up. We are still wondering why they continually have someone come out to look at the damages but never do anything. It is our desire to have the damages taken care of so that we can avoid any further illnesses or damages that may occur or have already occurred as a result of the initial negligence on the part of the roofer and Curtis Management for not verifying that the job was done properly.
all i want is to have the proper repairs completed and to have the inside damages repaired by curtis management since it was their negligence in the first place.
