This message is for everyone in our neighborhood that owns a dog!!
Please use all proper measures to keep your dog inside of your fence or yard. I realize that sometimes they do get out, I have had some that are escape artist.
Do you know the consequences of having a dog that attacks or bites someone ehile roaming the community un supervised? Arlington does have rules and regs. for this.
We had a gentleman bitten a few months back and we all need to watch for roaming dogs and report them. So, no one is hurt. The shots are very painful for the person bitten if the dogs owner is not found. So, be careful. I was bitten by a cat in the neighborhood at 5 years old so teach your children to be warned about roaming animals.
Dogs are great protection but roamers may or may not be friendly so Please report dogs if you don't know they are freindly to the Animal Control. If a dog of a neighbor is picked up and you know the neighbor please let them know their dog was out and picked up. No one likes to pay fines but not everyone will know that your dogs are friendly...
