We have found a nice house the Churchill Estates; however, my wife is concerned about the noise of the jets. The realtor told us that some people find this to be a problem. I am interested in getting some feedback from anyone ''on the ground'' in Churchill Estates. Is it a deal-breaker?

you get used to it  the planes dont fly over all the time  we live closer to huebner    the people who live closer to blanco  i believe will be getting federally funded new sound proof windows.    the plus  great school, soo central to everything

I've lived there since 2001 and the jets did not bother me after the first 6 months. Usually the planes are coming in for landing and thus, the engine noise is significantly less than those homes elsewhere that are under the takeoff  flight. It now intrigues us and our guests to be outdoors and try to guess what airlines the plane is from! It only stops the conversation for a second. The close proximity to other amenities such as restaurants and stores, the active homeowner association and wonderful school district FAR outweighs the slight inconvenience of air traffic.

I agree with the other two responses.  Don't even notice it after a while.  FedEx is the only one I even realize is there.
