The East Sacramento Improvement Association is the oldest and largest neighborhood association in Sacramento. It is 41 years old and it was formed and incorporated in 1958 to protect, improve, and maintain the quality of life in East sacramento by representing the neighborhood at the City Planning Commission and City Council.
The ESIA is a non-profit,non-partisian, all volunteer led organization with an 11 member board of directors.
The ESIA has history. It has been looking out for the best interests of east sacramento and its residents on issues big and small, from Centrage to "granny units" since 1958.
The ESIA has clout. It is one of the oldest and largest neighborhood associations in the entire county. This carries a lot of weight with elected officials, agencies, businesses, and other organizations.
The ESIA is respected. Because the association does its homework, works hard, is conscientious, and is a tough but reasonable advocate, its counsel and opinions are actively sought by government and business interests.
The ESIA covers ALL of East Sacramento, with its wide diversity people, homes, and businesses. The Association's 600+ members live in every part of the neighborhood.
Lastly, you should join because it is CHEAP at $10 per year and represents the best investment you could ever make to protect your neighborhood and your home!!!! A lunch costs more that the ESIA dues. You simply cannot afford not to join and help protect the best neighborhood in Sacramento.
