The East Sacramento Improvement Association is the oldest and largest "neighborhood" association in Sacramento. It was incorporated in 1958 to protect, improve and maintain the residential qualities of East Sacramento by representing the neighborhood at the City Planning Commission and City Council. The Association meets bi-monthly and the dues are $10 per year. The Association is a non-profit, non-partisan, volunteer-led organization with an 11-member board of directors.
